Andrew Perry
Andrew Perry offers a unique blend of skills, having been on both sides of the Communications field. He started his career working as an intern reporter for the Los Cerritos Community News, and is currently working for the City of Artesia, California as a Public Information Officer.
AS PIO for Artesia, Mr. Perry has started the city's newsletter, The Artesian, and the employee newsletter, The CityBeat. He has managed the logistics, finances, and distribution of each. He also provides most of the photos and written content, and all of the layout for both. He also assists the webmaster for updating and maintaining the content of the city's website. He still writes as freelance reporter for local newspapers as well.
Mr. Perry graduated from Cal State Fullerton with a major in Philosophy and a minor in Journalism. As such, he likes to write about philosophical issues like language, religion, politics, and epistemology. He's an avid fan of science, and is a regular reader of National Geographic, Discover, and Skeptic magazine. Mr. Perry is also a member of the Skeptics Society.
